Origin
The grapes for this wine come from the oldest vines in the Ried Holzspur, which, with its calcareous, warm, and dry alluvial soil, is ideally suited for growing Burgundy grape varieties.
Vinification and Ageing
After a very careful selection of the grapes and fermentation in wooden fermentation tanks, we age the wine for fourteen months in small wooden barrels.
Tasting Note
An impressive aroma of sour cherries and berries. Firm on the palate, with a delicate balance of acidity and tannins. Soft, harmonious, and with a long finish.
