A place where everything falls into place

Johanneshof Reinisch

He is what he is.
 The sum of his parts.

We are the fourth generation to cultivate vineyards in Tattendorf. It all began in 1923 with a vineyard covering no more than 0.5 ha on the Mitterfeld vineyard site. Today, we cultivate approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, primarily in the Vineyards around Tattendorf, but also on the Anninger in Gumpoldskirchen. In 1995, the new Johanneshof Reinisch winery, located at Im Weingarten 1 near Tattendorf, was established.

This allowed us to create ideal conditions for producing fine wines. We have state-of-the-art cellar technology for all aspects of winemaking, from sorting machines and electronically controlled presses to equipment for controlled fermentation processes, as well as a spacious barrel cellar built using traditional methods and old bricks. Winemaking here is now in its fifth generation. In 1923, we had just 0.5 hectares on the Ried Mitterfeld. Today, we have 37 hectares around Tattendorf and Gumpoldskirchen. Quality like this simply must not disappear. More than that: it must develop and grow. Otherwise, it remains nothing more than a myth.

PLACES TO STAY AT THE JOHANNESHOF

Come in.

Find peace.

Become part of it.

Those who stay become part of the whole. Not as guests in the traditional sense, but as people who experience the place. Staying at the Johanneshof means arriving, letting go, and taking a deep breath. This doesn’t require luxury that has to be flashy, but rather spaces that do you good.

Minimalist, authentic, well-thought-out. Here, too, it’s the interplay of architecture, atmosphere, silence, and attentiveness that matters. Because relaxation comes from the sum of many little things.
