Origin
The grapes for this wine come from the oldest vines in the Ried Holzspur, whose calcareous alluvial soil makes it ideal for growing Burgundy grape varieties.
Vinification and Ageing
After a very careful selection of the grapes and fermentation in wooden fermentation tanks, we age the wine in small wooden barrels for about 16 months. Only after an additional six months of bottle aging is the wine released for sale.
Tasting Note
Expressive aroma of raspberries. Smooth texture, full-bodied on the palate, elegant finish.
