Ingredients and Nutritional Information

Pairs with…

Fish and shellfish, hearty pasta dishes, delicate poultry such as guinea fowl or quail, veal, and fine offal such as veal liver, veal kidneys, or sweetbreads.

Origin

With its layer of black soil over primeval gravel and its comparatively cool overall characteristics, the Ried Lores vineyard is ideally suited for the cultivation of fine white wine grapes. It is precisely here that Chardonnay develops a distinctive density of aroma and, in addition to the variety’s characteristic intensity, offers the utmost in vibrant elegance.

Vinification and Ageing

After fermentation in lightly toasted wooden barrels of various sizes, this wine matures in them for another eight to ten months.

Tasting Note

Delicate aromas of nuts and sponge cake; subtle toasty notes and creamy fruit on the palate; a lively acidity; long finish.
