Origin

We source the grapes for this wine from the Weißes Kreuz, Holzspur, and Ried Frauenfeld vineyards, whose warm, limestone-rich soils provide excellent growing conditions even for spicy Grape Varieties.

Vinification and Ageing

The wines for this Cuvée are fermented in wooden fermentation tanks, undergo vinification and age separately in barriques, and, after blending, matured for another six months in small French oak barrels. Depending on the Vintage, the wine spends 16 to 18 months in barriques.

Tasting Note

Aromas of blackberries and currants. Elegant with a full body. Finely integrated tannins.
